- To encourage the personal growth and development of students, particularly as it relates to the area of gender in society
- To help students identify societal structures that support inequities that are based on gender, race, sexual orientation, class or other characteristics
- To provide opportunities for students to develop and practice skills that would be useful to them in working for social change
- To educate students about violence against women
- To provide support and counseling for those who request it
Our long-term goals are to develop programs, resources and services that enhance the personal development, academic experience and career opportunities of all women at Tufts University. We support committees, policy development and administrators or advocates dealing with gender conflicts and related problems.
