  College Advising Corps:

The Massachusetts College Advising Corps is a collaborative program that hires recent college graduates to work as full-time college advisers in high schools across the state. The aim of the Corps is to increase college enrollment rates and prepare students for college success in both urban and rural areas of Massachusetts, helping to ensure that higher education is an attainable goal for all, regardless of socioeconomic status. The advisers provide one-to-one college application guidance to low-income and first-generation students while working with MACC member colleges to raise awareness and strengthen the college access pipeline.

The program is run in partnership with the Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University, and is part of a larger national effort to mobilize young, college-educated leaders to tackle the college admissions obstacles facing millions of teenagers across the country.
