Following the New England Regional Campus Compact conference this fall,
a number of those who attended are forming a working group to share resources,
best practices and support as their campuses begin the process of applying for
the Carnegie Foundation's Community Engagement Classification.

The third in our series of network meetings around the preK-postsecondary
education pipeline, this session will examine the opportunities and
challenges in working with preK-12 programs. The session will focus on
group discussion and will emphasize sharing best practices and strategic
planning and development of programs.

Suffolk University Alternative Winter Break
Suffolk’s Alternative Winter Break offers a unique experience to travel
to El Salvador. This past winter break, 13 students, and 5 faculty and
staff members participated in the trip. Through their hard work and fundraising,
they were able to build a wall for an outdoor stage where festivals in the
village are held.
