Email & Network Support - Students

For help with an Email or Network account:

  • Go to the ITS Computing Center @ Eaton Hall during walk-in hours, Monday - Friday between 1-5pm with a government issued photo ID card or official Tufts University ID card.
     
  • Make an appointment or contact  an administrator/support representative by:

Configuring an Email Client to Check Trumpeter Email
For Trumpeter email management, you can use one of the following email clients:

  • Mac Mail
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Mozilla Thunderbird

Using Trumpeter Webmail:
To check your Trumpeter webmail from any location with internet accessibility.

  • Launch an internet browser and visit https://webmail.tufts.edu
  • In the box labeled Username, type your Tufts webmail username.
  • In the box labeled Password, type your Tufts webmail password.
  • Click on the button labeled Log in.

To log out of Trumpeter Webmail, when you are finished using your account:

  • On the right of the Trumpeter Toolbar, click on the button labeled Log out.

Changing Your Password:
To change your Trumpeter webmail password:

  • Launch an internet browser and visit https://trumpeter.tufts.edu
  • Log in with your webmail username and password. 
  • In the Password area of the Trumpeter Email Services window, click on the button labeled change. y
  • In the boxes labeled Enter new password and Confirm new password, type the new password you wish to use. 
  • Click on the button labeled Change Password.

Password restrictions:

Your password must

  • be at least 6 characters in length
  • contain at least one number or special character
  • contain both capital and lowercase letters.

Getting an account for web space:
To apply for an Emerald account for web space, contact TCCS at ext. 73376.
