Trumpeter was conceived for Tufts University by representatives from all University schools and central administration as part of an overall information technology architecture strategy. Sponsored by the Information Technology Council, the Information Architecture Committee identified the need for a seamless email service that provided reliable and robust electronic communications for everyone at Tufts.
