The Department of Education is fortunate to be able to provide its students, Faculty and Staff with a selection of high-quality technology resources to assist them in their academic work. As with any resource, however, the supply is not unlimited, and demand cannot always be foreseen. The effective and agreeable use of this equipment depends upon communication and cooperation amongst all members of the community. The Department will always do its best to accommodate the greatest number of students to the greatest extent possible. We ask that students also be considerate of the competing demands for these resources.

Please keep in mind that when you check out the equipment from the office, you are responsible for the safety and care of that equipment, including all parts and pieces that belong to it. By lending this technology to students, the Department entrusts that you will return it to the office in excellent condition. The continued and frequent use of this equipment requires that everyone who handles it pay careful attention to its care and maintenance. If you believe the equipment is malfunctioning in any way, please alert us to this fact when you return it to the office.

Equipment Lending Procedure:

In order to facilitate usage, please adhere to the following guidelines:

• All equipment is to be checked out of the main Department of Education office in Paige Hall during regular office hours (9:00am to 4:30pm, Monday - Friday). Please see Carla Walsh  or Lori Jackson.
• All equipment must be returned within 3 business days.
• You will not receive a grade for your course until all equipment has been returned to the office.
• Please fill out the Education Equipment Borrowing Agreement and bring with you at time of check out.
