Teaching for Social Justice Workshop
Held October 31 - November 2, 2007
Tufts MAT students took part in a Teaching for Social Justice
workshop over three days this fall. Linda Beardsley, Martha Tucker, and
Steve Cohen facilitated the workshop which included the participation of
Dr. Maurice Vanderpol, a psychiatrist who was hidden from the Nazis in
the Netherlands during World War II, and Judy Richardson, a former SNCC
civil rights worker who worked on the /Eyes on the Prize/ series and
other documentary films.
