ED 101: Introduction to Teaching in Middle and High Schools

Each Fall, all our MAT candidates for middle and high school licensure take a course called ED 101: Introduction to Teaching in Middle and High Schools. As part of the course, we plan a session to invite school leaders to talk about the various models of schools that are developing effective practices to serve students and families.

This year's panel was held on Tuesday, October 16, 5:00 – 6:30. The panel included Dana Brown, Principal of Malden High School; Peggy Kemp, Headmaster of Fenway High School, Ayla Gavins, Principal of Mission Hill School, Thabiti Brown, Principal of Codman Academy and Dawn Shearer-Coren, former Counselor for Metco in Lexington.
