A Boston subway map that overlays the MBTA T-stops over a Google
Map. Extremely useful in figuring out how to get "there from

Living Accommodations at Tufts
Three houses are available to graduate students on a first come first
served basis. Room assignments are made for the full academic year. For
the academic year, costs are per person per semester. For more information
contact the Tufts Residential Life
Office at 617-627-3248. Also, stop by the Graduate and Professional
Studies Office for their weekly newsletter: it's full of useful
information to help you with your housing needs.

It is recommended that students check local papers such as: The
Boston Globe, The Phoenix, Tufts Observer, Medford Mercury, etc.
for up-to-date information on available housing. In addition,
information on present students seeking roommates for the coming
year is posted on bulletin boards around campus. Off-Campus
Housing Referral Service is also available to graduate students.
Please call 942-2359 or write P. O. Box 53118, Tufts Station,

Tufts Publications
Several pamphlets and newsletters are published regularly by the
Tufts University Office of Publications. These materials provide
helpful information about what's happening at Tufts and in the
area. Each of these are free and can be picked up in the Campus
Center, the Library, dining halls, or campus academic buildings.
The Tufts Observer
- a weekly student newspaper, featuring news,
sports, meetings, lectures, social events, dining hall menus, and
weather forecasts. Also listed are non-Tufts academic and arts
events of interest taking place in the Boston area. Although The
Observer focuses primarily on what's doing at Tufts, there is
limited coverage in the paper on non-Tufts happenings, especially
in the editorial, arts, and calendar sections.
The Tufts Daily - a daily
student newspaper available when class
is in session. The Daily features news, sports, meetings,
lectures, social events, dining hall menus, and the weather
forecasts. Also listed in The Daily are non-Tufts academic and
arts events of interest taking place in the Boston area.
The Tufts Journal - is published monthly during the academic year
by the University's Office of Publications. The on-line newspaper
covers news and events on all three Tufts' campuses. The Journal
also lists grants awarded to Tufts professors and a calendar of
interesting alumni, faculty, and student events.
The Tufts Magazine - is published by the University's Office of
Alumni Relations four times throughout the year and sent (free) to
Tufts alumni, alumnae and parents. Copies can be picked up at the
Alumni Relations office located at 95 Talbot Avenue. Tufts
Magazine features in-depth features on University people,
happenings within the University, as well as extensive coverage of
alumni/nae news.
