Kristen Ripley
Kristen was recently named the 2010 Massachusetts Art Educator of the Year for Middle School by Massachusetts Art Education Association. She holds an M.Ed. from Harvard University, Graduate School of Education ('06) with a concentration in Arts in Education and a B.A. from Mount Holyoke College ('04). She also holds a Massachusetts teaching license in Visual Art for grades pre-K through 12. Kristen is currently a middle school art teacher at the Chenery Middle School, Belmont public schools. She has also taught grades 7-12 in Providence, Rhode Island. She holds professional membership with the National Art Education Association, the Massachusetts Art Education Association and the National Association for Multicultural education. She has presented at numerous professional conferences on art education and multicultural curriculum.
