Black Men's Group
The Black Men’s Group (BMG) serves as an educational and social
support group geared towards building well rounded, respectful and
informed men at Tufts. In the pursuit of overall excellence, the
principles of the Black Men’s Group are:
- Academic achievement
- Community Involvement
- Peer Mentorship
Through facilitated meetings, the Black Men’s Group meets weekly
to discuss topics that promote the practice of scholarship,
brotherhood and leadership and works with the Black Women’s
Collective, Pan-African Alliance and The Africana Center to provide
programs that promote a sense of integrity, pride and honor for the
Black community.
All members of the Africana community are welcome to collaborate and
participate in BMG’s events and programs. We welcome your ideas and
initiative.
